List of 2009 Contributors to the WWLT
The Woodie Wheaton Land Trust is a conservation oriented organization and all contributions will be used for conservation purposes. The same holds true for contributions marked "for Membership" - "for Mission" - "for Board Discretion" as well as all undesignated contributions.
Funds earmarked for the East Grand Watershed Initiative and for the purchase of Greenland Island will be used specifically for conservation projects in the Upper Chiputneticook Lakes, including North, East Grand, Longley, Deering and Brackett Lakes and The Thoroughfare.
Contributions designated for the"WWLT Center" or for the "Building Fund" will be used for the completion of the WWLT Center including furnishing and landscaping. The WWLT Center Fundraising Committee is chaired by Dale Wheaton with Sarina Gwirtzman and Kay Serebrakian as committee members.
All undesignated financial contributions are gratefully received as Conservation Funds to be used at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
The WWLT Board of Directors has recently established three endowment funds, one to benefit the maintanence and upkeep of the WWLT Conservation Center, another to provide funds for maintaining our real estate properties and a third to benefit our daily Operations. A fourth WWLT endowment fund has been funded with a substantial bequest received from the estate of our late friend and benefactor,
Robert C. Hector. Please specify your choice of which fund you are contributing to and make all contributions and donations payable to:
