WWLT Receives Clean Trail Grant From ExtremeTerrain

The Woodie Wheaton Land Trust has received a $250 Clean Trail Grant from ExtremeTerrain Off-Road Outfitters. ExtremeTerrain, a Jeep Wrangler and Toyota Tacoma off-road parts specialist, understands that we all must respect the integrity of the landscape we live, drive and play on.  With the desire to leave the trails we enjoy better than we found them, they seek to give back through various philanthropic opportunities. ExtremeTerrain's Clean Trail Project provides eligible groups the opportunity to apply for financial assistance in various trail improvement projects.

The grant awarded to WWLT will help us purchase new tools to maintain the East Grand Highlands Trails, as our current tools have become worn-down and dull. We also hope to plan a volunteer trail cleanup event for the upcoming spring or summer!

If you are interested in supporting the East Grand Highlands Trails and would like to contribute your time and services, please email office@woodiewheaton.org.  You can also donate to help us purchase tools and supplies that will assist in maintaining the trails so all can enjoy them and the natural beauty of the area.

Please visit ExtremeTerrain's website to learn more about their Clean Trail Grant Program.

We'd love to hear your story!
